In the Abacus Market, Arbitration
Ensuring Equitable Deals
We at Abacus Market put a lot of effort into maintaining a trustworthy marketplace where buyers and sellers can transact with confidence. In the rare event that disagreements do occur, our dedicated moderation team is ready to intervene and mediate them so that everyone is treated fairly.

Common Dispute Reasons
- The item was not delivered to the buyer as stated in the description.
- Payment for a completed order was not received by the vendor.
- The item was lost or confiscated during transit.
- Unauthorized acts resulted from the compromising of a buyer or vendor account.
Opening a Dispute
- Go to the "Orders" area of your account and locate the contested order.
- Choose the cause from the dropdown menu after clicking the "Open Dispute" button.
- Give a thorough explanation of the problem and include any pertinent supporting documentation.
- After submitting the dispute form, watch for your case to be assigned to a moderator.

Dispute Resolution Process
A moderator will review the information and supporting documents submitted by the buyer and seller after a dispute has been initiated. They might ask for further details or explanations via private chat. The moderator will then make a decision based on the specifics of the case and the rules of Abacus Market.
Possible outcomes include:
- Buyer's full or partial refund
- Release of funds to the vendor
- Order cancellation and reimbursement of the buyer's money
- If there are serious infractions, the guilty party's account may be banned or suspended.
Appeal Process
If any party is dissatisfied with the moderator's selection, they have 48 hours from the time of the decision to submit an appeal. When the issue is escalated through an appeal, a senior moderator will examine all of the data and make a final, legally binding judgment.
To lessen the likelihood of issues, always carefully review ads, seller ratings, and market restrictions before making a purchase. Before bringing moderators in, try to resolve minor disagreements peacefully with your trade partner and maintain open channels of contact.
